About Cooee

Cooee Classics began creating iconic Aussie souvenirs and clothing way back in the 1980's. From its humble early start, Cooee was always at the cutting edge of recognising niche markets and addressing them with well designed and quality manufactured products.
In the early 2000's collectible diecast models were mostly limited to British or American cars, but what was lacking was a true representation of Australia's proud motoring history.
The market for 1:64 and 1:87/HO models was crying out for good Australian models, so Cooee developed the concept of developing authentic diecast models for these collectors. The first range of classic Aussie Road-Ragers was born as a range of limited edition 1:64 scale Falcon XW’s and XY’s.
The resultant enthusiasm from collectors enabled further development and expansion into 1950’s 60’s and ’70’s Holdens, Valiants and Fords, covering commercial vehicles, racing legends and everyday street cars.
OO gauge Melbourne trams joined the ranks, with outstanding detail and quality, which led to motorised versions for the railway hobbyists to complement the growing range of 1:87 scale Aussie cars, trucks and buses.
Today, Cooee Classics continues to develop their iconic Australian diecast model range, maintaining the same quality standards that make true collectibles collectible.
